Accident Information System - Free Download
Use this page to download the demonstration version of the Windows AIS application. The demo is a fully functional version of the production system. The only restriction is the number of new accidents you will be able to add to the system. The demo will take up approximately 75 megabytes of disk space, and must be installed on your C: drive. You must also have either Microsoft Access 2000 or Microsoft Access 97 on your PC. The demo has no expiration date, so download the system and take your time examining its features.
Before downloading AIS, check which version of Microsoft Access you have on your PC. If you don't know the answer to this, call us and we'll help you figure it out. There are two versions of AIS, one for Access 2000 and one for Access 97, so be sure you download the correct version...
To install the demo, first download the files below to any temporary directory on your PC. Next, switch to Windows Explorer, double-click to view and print the AIS Demo Installation Guide. This document will contain installation details for configuring AIS to your current version of Microsoft Access, and the User ID you need to use to access the sample Accident database.
For detailed instructions on entering Collision Reports, performing queries, and printing reports, print out the AIS Users Manual located in the C:\Program Files\Viridian\AIS\Docs directory.
